#EarthDay2021. Sometimes what you thought was the problem, is really the solution.
In Canada, we are blessed with some of the most pristine, beautiful landscapes, but they are disappearing at an alarming rate. Grazing cattle on these lands is critical to maintaining their place in a balanced, thriving ecosystem. Not only are these lands essential for growing and raising food, but they are also critical areas that support wildlife and store billions of tonnes of carbon. As a beef industry, we have set some ambitious 2030 targets to conserve our native grasslands and safeguard the over two-thirds of wildlife habitat that is provided on land managed by #cdnbeef farmers and ranchers. They truly ARE #GuardiansoftheGrasslands
